Amelia & Max’s Christmas Baskets

Themed hampers are always super fun to make and add a bit of extra fun to holidays. (You can find Amelia’s Halloween basket here)

Christmas is my favourite time of year so finding bits to fill Themed baskets as well as finding fun Christmas presents, so here goes with Amelia’s Christmas Basket.

  • Reindeer headband – Tesco F&F
  • Snowman dress – Tesco F&F
  • Peppa Pig t-shirt – Tesco F&F

As soon as I saw the snowman dress I was so in love with it! I got it in a bigger size so she can make use out of it next year as well (which I thought was a really good and savvy idea! Haha)

  • Peppa Pig Goes Ice Skating Book
  • Peppa’s Christmas
  • Peppa’s Christmas Fun sticker book
  • The Christmas Story – Usborne

  • Magnetic advent calendar – Jojo Maman Bebe
  • Rocking horse tree decoration – The Range

The Jojo advent calendar was actually a free gift when you spend over £25 for an offer they had a few weeks ago. Amelia has a heater next to all of her toys with different magnets on it so I thought she would have loads of fun sticking these on every day.

Max’s First Christmas Basket

As it’s Max’s first Christmas I thought I would do him a little ‘First Christmas Basket’. Since he’s only 4 months old I knew there would be no point putting too much in there and have just stuck to useful bits and bits he can save in his memory box.

  • 2016 bauble – Wilko
  • My first Christmas tree decoration – The Range
  • First Christmas reindeer teddy
  • Snowman rattle – Tesco
  • Squeak my first Christmas toy – Card Factory

Max really loves the snowman rattle and I thought it was a super cute keepsake to go in his memory box.

  • Rocking horse tree decoration – The Range
  • Christmas themed bath toys – Dunelm

Bathtime is a big favourite in our house so these festive bath toys are going to be really fun for Amelia and Max to play with.

  • Neckerchew bib – Jojo Maman Bebe
  • Elf outfit – Tesco F&F

With teething being a total nightmare this bib will (hopefully!!) come in really handy! I love dressing Maxy up so I think he’ll look so cute in this elf outfit!

  • Ten Shiny Snowflakes
  • Spot’s Snowy Fun
  • Snowman and the Snowdog

Max loves it when I read to him and Amelia so I put these few books in his basket as I think they’ll be fun ones for him to look at and interact with. They’re also for Amelia since she’s a real book addict!

  • Reindeer babygro’s – Tesco F&F

I LOVE putting Amelia and Max in matching outfits and I thought these ones were super cute!

The best part about having a themed basket is that they can be used all month, whereas if they were presents they’d barely be used as the festive period would have already been done and dusted.

  1. I haven’t heard of doing these…I think i always tend to get my daughter Pjs and an advent calendar but the basket is a lovely idea. There is so much stuff around that is so cute!! I bet they were very well received! Thanks for sharing with #bestandworst x

  2. This is a really great idea – it brings together the concept of a christmas eve basket and advent calendar all in one – books, clothes and toys that will get loads of love over the month as you say! We did a rubbish version, called, getting the box of christmas books and toys out of the loft!! What was really amazing was that this year our eldest remembered her favourites and hugged them like being reunited with old friends. Cute!

  3. I don’t do a basket, but we love getting the Christmas books down with all the decorations! (Apart from Peppa’s Christmas – that one was such a big hit last year we ended up reading it on repeat endlessly and I was grateful to see the back of it!) I love that little rocking horse decoration too, that will make such a lovely keepsake for the memory box! Thanks for joining us at #SharingtheBlogLove

  4. Ah this is such a great idea and you have some really nice gifts here. I struggle with what to get them at Christmas lol let alone doing a basket too hehehe. Really lovely idea. Thanks for sharing it at #familyfun xx

  5. These are lovely. I did a similar thing last year, but will just be giving our girls some new pjs this christmas eve as we’ve done the elf thing this year which has been nice. Thanks for linking up to That Friday Linky! Sorry the comment is a bit late
