Chocolate Fudge Brownies

Jack’s mother made some brownies a few days ago so obviously I had to make some more!! Whilst at mums house yesterday we did cheat by using a Betty Crocker mix, but today whilst at home I decided to give it a go from scratch. They definitely tasted just as good! – So here is the recipe…

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup caster sugar
  • 1/2 cup plain flour
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 45ml oil
  • 75ml water

Method:

1 – Mix the dry ingrediants together in a bowl.

2 – Preheat the oven to 180c.

3 – Add the egg, oil and water and mix.


**Remember to line the tin!! I always forget this part and my brownies get stuck!**

 


4 –┬áBake for 20 – 25 minutes.

 

5 – Cut into even pieces and place in a container.
┬áThese will keep longer being placed in a fridge – Try warmed in the microwave with either ice cream or double cream!
