Blogging – Sometimes You Just Don’t Feel It

I love blogging and having somewhere to store all of my thoughts and what’s going on in our lives – most of the time. Sometimes I just really can’t be bothered..

and that’s fine!

Around Christmas I totally switched off ditching my beloved linky’s and roughly jotting down my thoughts for a time where I could actually be bothered to put them into some sense and create and ‘proper’ blog post. I usually aim to post every other day which is about 4 times a week and I’ve found that usually that’s totally doable and I enjoy having something new to share with people.

The past two weeks I have been on a complete blogging drought because of what seems like a never ending illness, so as I write this – sitting in the doctors surgery waiting for yet another course of antibiotics that will hopefully kick this throat and ear infections ass – I’m hoping it will give me the inspiration and push I need to get back into the blogging flow.

There are plenty of ideas floating around in my head of what to write next, like all about Amelia’s 2nd birthday (a total nightmare), raving about a new series I’m OBSESSED with on good old Netflix and a general moan about being poorly with two poorly babies too.

So for today I will leave you with a little picture of us all feeling a bit rubbish!

Do you ever have a little unexpected blogging break? What makes you get back into the flow?

  1. I’ve only been blogging for a few months so the ideas are still flowing! However I had a really busy March with work and the children so I didn’t have time to blog as much as perhaps I wanted. But that’s ok! Life is life and sometimes work, kids, friends or illness come first. Good post though and I enjoyed reading it. I’m going to take a look around your site now. Thanks! #MarvMondays

  2. #marvmondays I’m the Cleaner and CEO of my blog so I take breaks when I want and because I want to. These kinda make me miss it and help rejuvenate a passion. I only post once a week as I work full time and would rather write one that I’m proud of them try to do more and rush.

  3. Totally agree with you about switching off. Sometimes that’s when the. We ideas start flowing. Hope you are feeling better and those antibiotics worked. #marvmondays
