Amelia’s Upcoming Summer Wardrobe

Summer is a time of year that I really love and it’s extra exciting this year with a toddler and the imminent arrival of our little boy. The days are longer and with warmer weather it means I can dress Amelia is super cute summery dresses. Dresses and cardigans are all part of our favourite summer clothes and thankfully Amelia has plenty of these!

A lot of Amelia’s Summer wardrobe came from birthday presents.

Cropped trousers & belt – Junior J

Polka dot jeans – Gap

Black leggings – Next

Plain Jeans –

Polka dot skirt – Jojo Maman Bebe

Cropped trousers in the Summer is just perfect – especially when th evenings are a bit schillier. These Junior J cropped trousers came from eBay last year and they look great with the belt too. I love Jojo clothes and this skirt works really well with some pretty tights and a summery top. Leggings are so useful to go under dresses or skirts for chillier summer evenings and these navy ones and super soft and look really cute on.

Pyjama sets – Jojo Maman Bebe

I honestly love everything about these PJ sets. The floral design is super pretty and both sets are lightweight so perfect for warm Summer nights. I often put Amelia to bed in these without a vest if its a bit warmer weather and she looks super cute wearing both!

Little girls and dresses go perfectly for summer. I love to put Amelia in a pretty dress to go out and play in and now that the weather is warming up a bit it means that we can forget the tights and instead out on some cute nappy covering knickers.

Navy and pink cardigans (top) – Jojo Maman Bebe

Pink cardigan – Joules

Floral print white cardigan – George @ Asda

I have a real cardigan obsession for both myself and Amelia! We have so many more hanging in Amelia’s room and these are just a few of my favourites.

I have a real love of peter pan collars and Amelia looks so cute in them too! These tops are all from Jojo Maman Bebe and look great paired with a cardigan.

I found this Cath Kidston jumper at a car boot sale and its become a real staple piece in Amelia’s wardrobe. Its super thin and lightweight so perfect for warm days and it goes with anything!

Check shirt – Zara

White top – Cath Kidston

White top (middle) – Monsoon

White floral – Benetton

Blue floral – Benetton

Floaty and floral tops are a real must in the summer. Floral patterns are my favourites and other than the Cath Kidston top all of these were from a local car boot sale so a great steal!

All of these came from Benetton in the sale – all were under £5 each which was brilliant! I love a good bargain and theses nothing better than finding these bargains from your favourite shops!

Floral blouse – Zara

White long sleeve top – Next

Blue long sleeve top – Joules

Amelia’s nannie got the Zara blouse from a charity shop and I really love it! The pretty flower on the Joules top makes it really suitable for this time of year.

Peter pan collar bodysuits – Jojo Maman Bebe

Hair slides – Jojo Maman Bebe

Again with my love of Peter Pan collars and floral patterns!! These hair slides are the best ones I’ve ever found for Amelia. They’re super soft grip so getting them in and out is easy and painless.

Glasses – Monsoon

Headbands – Cath Kidston

Accessories!! I love summery accessories and these are really my favourite pieces. Floral prints on girly headbands and glasses really tie key pieces together to really complete an outfit.

You can get so many gorgeous and good brand/quality clothing items from charity sops and car boot sales and this is where most of Amelia’s clothes come from. Another great one is eBay for cheap baby/toddler/children clothes.
